Tennis star Maria Sharpova’s wedding ring is making more headlines than her impending nuptials.  But it’s not without good reason. L.A. Laker Sasha Vujacic made his proposal in his Manhattan Beach, Calif. home with a sparkler that cost a whopping $250,000.

The center stone is a cushion-cut diamond of approximately 7 to 8 carats (read: HUGE) on a thick, split-shank platinum band.  “He completely surprised me! I’m so lucky and very much spoiled,” she told Us Weekly magazine.
