Russell Brand & Katy Perry Plan Week Long Wedding

Russell Brand and Katy Perry are planning to wed in October. The media-happy couple has been talking about the event for months and are going to make it a huge affair. In fact, one special day isn’t going to be enough. They’re going to make a week out of it!

According to reports the ‘I Dos’ will take place in Delhi, India. Invites have been sent out to friends and relatives on white embossed cards that say: “Meet you in Delhi in October. Dates to follow. Please allow seven days for this event.”

Yep! Seven days! The theme will be Hollywood meets Bollywood and is being planned by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss.

“Expect the most vibrant wedding of the year,” a source tells the Daily Mirror. “It will be a mix of traditional Hollywood glamour with Katy’s hair and dress, plus Indian touches like henna art on her hands and feet, an Indian tiara and hair brooches.”

Russell and Katy got engaged at the Taj Rambagh Palace hotel in Jaipur on New Year’s Eve last year.
